About this audiobook
This is an introduction to The Practical Application of Taoism and the seven-step system to get there.
This book explains what is behind Taoism or reality at a fundamental level. I began studying at a temple as a means to overcome dyslexia. Throughout the process, I overcame dyslexia. I did not just learn skills to cope with it but overcame it. Before that time, I had learned many conventional skills in high school and college. I reached a point where I comfortably knew more than most experts. Some of these techniques helped to some degree, but I never really began to understand and overcome dyslexia until I finally spent time in the temple. Overcoming dyslexia was the triumph of my life. As wonderful as this was, this was really only one of the unexpected side benefits of the process that I went through.
Taoism, like Zen meditation and many other programs, is only a method of experiencing what is behind the reality that most of us believe we understand and know very well. This reality can be defined as what is underneath the ideas and symbols on a timeline. It is what makes up most of our conscious thinking. This is not reality but rather an interpretation of reality. Taoism and Zen attempt to relate to the reality that exists underneath all things. For many people, this pursuit may seem too esoteric. Indeed, in all of my Taoist readings and in researching this book, I discovered that the public definition of Taoism is varied, confusing, and, in some cases, misleading. These are unique and pragmatic perspectives. Science and logic deal with interpreting reality through a specific lens of thoughts and ideas developed from our sensory experiences. It mostly relates to our primary visual senses. There is much more to reality than this. In order to experience Reality at a fundamental level or to understand the Tao, you need to live the Tao. The Tao is the way to experience and live reality at a fundamental level.

Practical Applications of Taoism
Using Taoism to Make Actual Changes in Your Life
Narrated by: Daniel Chase
Length: 7 hrs and 20 mins
Publisher’s summary
I decided to write this book after having written several books on the applications of Taoism in different areas. I have practiced Taoism for most of my life. I studied under a Taoist Master and spent many years in a temple. I have read a great deal on the subject. I have discovered that most of what is written is unclear and, in many cases, misleading. Having practiced Taoism for most of my life, I live the Tao and have helped others to live it. It’s so difficult to describe Tao because people attempt to do so through the lens of cognitive understanding and science. The Taoist perspective is completely different, so it does not lend itself well to being described through science or logic. I will get more into this later in the book. In attempting to cast Taoism in terms of logic or science, most of what makes it unique and effective is lost. To understand the Tao, you need to live it.
I teach aspects of this system to individuals and businesses. I will attempt in this book to explain what Taoism is. I will explain its different perspectives, how to experience it, and how to use it as a functional tool. To understand Taoism and apply it, you have to stop trying to compare it to logic and science. You need to look at it from its very unique perspective. Within this book and the second one, I will also teach many skills and techniques to develop your Taoist insight. This will help you operate more effectively within the world around you. I will teach you how to use it to make pragmatic changes in your life. These can include improving your lifestyle and developing better relationships with yourself and others. It can also be applied to improving business skills and other applications within your jobs or careers. Its applications can span creativity to the organization. When Taoism is practiced correctly, it is not just some strange esoteric philosophy. The Tao is dynamic and intricate.

The Tao of Human Interactions: Zen and the Art of Communication
During my professional as well as personal life, I’ve played the role of an employee in middle management as well as upper management. One essential skill for any good manager is communication. It is important to be able to assess the people you are managing and also to be able to effectively deliver the correct messages. It is not only important to deliver the ideas, but it also needs to be done in a way that has the correct impact on the audience.

Young Magic 2
This is the second novel in the series of Young Magic. This time the Variants face many unlikely challenges. At first glance, the challenges may not seem as demanding as in the first novel. The Horror Beneath Reality: Inspirations From King Lovecraft and Reality
The novel is the delivery of a sometimes lucid but often mad physicist recounting the events that led to his admittance into an institution. The story is conveyed in the florid style of the early nineteenth century, leaving the time period and setting ambiguous and surrealistic. Vivid and suggestive devices are used to explore the middle ground between the known and the supernatural.
“We begin to understand only the things we believe to be relevant to us. In exchange, we disregard all else. This is why I fear the darkness because it allows me to experience what I know all too well is behind this thin gossamer veil. This is why for most when we hear the ringing in complete silence, we sometimes discern the other aspects of the reality it contains. This is why at times, we hear sounds altogether unfamiliar yet possessing an undeniable presence. Sound and touch are senses we little understand or explore, and for this reason, the merciful filters we develop in childhood are not as verbose as with our sight.” SULI Daniel Johnson – The Horror Beneath Reality
The main character, whose name is not revealed, has suffered an injury in a particle accelerator that altered him fundamentally. This begins a series of changes within him, including dreams, inexplicable episodes of time displacement, and traditional hauntings. Throughout all of his challenges, he is compelled to a meeting in a century’s old underground city with terrible beings that defy description. Underneath the horror and the unknown is the conflict between the pragmatic and the spiritual aspects of mankind.
